Terms of Service
Last updated: April 2026
1. Acceptance of terms
By purchasing, downloading, or using the Vettamed application and services, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, do not use our services.
2. Service description
Vettamed provides a HUMAT preparation platform with Vettamed Desktop, a web workspace, study plans, protected practice, full mock examinations, review, progress analytics, educator organisations, assignments, and administrative content/security workflows.
3. Licence and device binding
Upon purchase or organisation assignment, your account receives explicit feature and content entitlements. Protected desktop sessions may be limited to authorised devices and active sessions. Device binding occurs during sign-in and access verification, not during checkout.
- Personal and organisation entitlements may combine; disconnecting from a tutor does not erase personally owned access.
- Device changes are available on request when you move to a new computer. Contact support with your account email and a short explanation.
- Attempting to circumvent entitlements, device binding, session controls, or organisation access rules constitutes a violation of these terms.
4. Account sharing
Account sharing is strictly prohibited. Your credentials and licence are for your personal use only. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that show evidence of sharing, including but not limited to multiple simultaneous device verification attempts.
5. Subscription and access
- Standard plan: 6 months of access from the date of purchase.
- Complete plan: 12 months of access from the date of purchase.
- Concierge plan: 12 months of access from the date of purchase, plus additional services as described.
All plans are one-time purchases with no recurring charges. Access expires automatically at the end of the subscription period.
6. Refund policy
We offer a full refund within 7 days of purchase, provided you have not started any examination. Once your first exam session begins, the purchase is final and non-refundable. To request a refund, contact support@vettamed.com with your order details.
7. Intellectual property
All examination content, including questions, passages, diagrams, solutions, and scoring algorithms, is the proprietary intellectual property of Vettamed. You may not copy, distribute, reproduce, screenshot, record, or otherwise share any examination content by any means.
The Vettamed Desktop application, its source code, and all associated materials are protected by copyright. Reverse engineering, decompilation, or disassembly of the application is prohibited.
8. Prohibited use
You agree not to:
- Share your account credentials, organisation seat, or authorised device access with any other person.
- Attempt to bypass, disable, or circumvent Secure Study Mode, Exam Mode, entitlement checks, or protected-session restrictions.
- Copy, distribute, or publish any examination content.
- Use the service for any purpose other than personal examination preparation.
- Attempt to access examination content through any means other than the official application.
- Interfere with or disrupt the service or its infrastructure.
9. Disclaimer and trademark notice
Vettamed is an independent, third-party preparation tool and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or connected to Humanitas University in any way. Our examination content is original and modelled on publicly available information about the HUMAT format.
"HUMAT" and "Humanitas" are used on this site and inside the Vettamed application solely to descriptively identify the admission test for which our product prepares candidates (nominative fair use). All such names, marks, and logos remain the property of their respective owners. We claim no trademark rights over these terms and make no representation that our product originates from, or is authorised by, any trademark owner.
We do not guarantee any specific examination outcome. Performance on our mock examinations does not predict or guarantee performance on the actual HUMAT.
10. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Vettamed shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for your subscription.
11. Governing law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Italian Republic. Any disputes arising from these terms or your use of the service shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Milan, Italy.
12. Changes to these terms
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Material changes will be communicated via the email address associated with your account at least 14 days before they take effect. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
13. Support operations
Routine operational support may be triaged or answered through automated systems acting on our behalf. Automated handling is limited to low-risk topics such as installation steps, authorised-device reset instructions, password recovery, access verification, and plan guidance. Refund disputes, abuse concerns, legal/privacy requests, and content-quality disputes are escalated for human review.
